We asked Ravi some questions about his role and what it’s like to work at Vinehealth!
How would you describe your role in 2 sentences?
This is a tough one, but in short I would describe my role as finding and filling gaps in requirements; thinking about the users' needs and always putting them first. In two words: problem solving! I work across both the Vinehealth app for cancer patients and the Vinehealth PRO dashboard for Clinicians and Pharma professionals.
How long have you been working at Vinehealth?
I joined Vinehealth in October 2019, so I'll be approaching my 2 year mark soon! I initially started out on the Commercial side working on Business Development and then transitioned over to the Product Team!
What did you do before joining Vinehealth?
Before joining Vinehealth I worked for another healthtech startup in Cambridge and prior to that I was a Management Consultant.
Why did you decide to join Vinehealth?
When I was looking for my next role I really wanted to do something that matters and has a real impact on people living with cancer so when I came across Vinehealth, it was a no brainer!
What are you most proud of/enjoying working on at the moment?
This is a really difficult question as there are too many things to choose from! If I have to choose, I think I’d have to say working with Anastasiia, our Product Design and Research Lead, on updating the designs for adding medications and appointments to the schedule. I can really see the positive impact this would have on cancer patients using the app.
Another thing that I’m really proud about is seeing through the first production/live release of VinehealthPRO, our platform for healthcare and life science professionals, which is really exciting!
What do you like most about working at Vinehealth?
The team! It's great working with people who are so passionate about what they do. I also look forward to getting together on office days - they're always fun! On a professional level I love that every day presents a new challenge / a new problem to solve. I feel like it makes my job really exciting and that I'm always learning something new.
