Vinehealth | Community Manager | London (semi-remote) | 6 months contracted part-time maternity cover from September 2021

We’re a digital health startup using behavioural science and artificial intelligence to optimise care, improve quality of life and increase survival of cancer patients. Last year we released our App (Android/iOS) and now we’re helping clinicians and researchers integrate their patient’s data into new research. 

 

Vinehealth is seeking an exceptional Community manager to cover 6 months contracted maternity leave on a part-time basis (2.5 days p/w) from September 2021 in our commercial team. This individual(s)* will be responsible for managing and handling social communications, charity relationships, and press alongside managing our B2C and B2B media strategies, supporting Vinehealth’s mission to impact the lives of millions of people going through cancer. 

*We would be happy to discuss this role being split for two contractors. 

 

As a Community Manager you’ll be working independently and with our CEO, product design lead, user researcher, and liaising with the tech team from time to time. 

 

Full Job Specification:

 

Charity Partners

  • Building relationships with new and existing charity partners both in the UK and USA. 

  • Managing, reviewing, and uploading content articles within the app and following our content management system. 

  • Researching new information, charity & professional partners that could feature in our app articles and/or short courses.

  • Liaising with our user researcher to analyse and understand aggregate data for charity partners. 

 

B2B Marketing/Social Media

  • Researching, preparing, and scheduling x2 weekly LinkedIn posts on thought leadership, company achievements, publications, and other relevant information that follows our B2B marketing strategy. 

  • Organising information & layout for our quarterly Pharma newsletter and sending this out via Hubspot. 

  • Managing, writing, and scheduling press releases, including sending to relevant publications ahead of time. 

  • Overseeing our Twitter page, re-sharing relevant information, and company achievements/announcements.

  • Creating visual assets to go alongside press releases, LinkedIn posts, Twitter posts & blog posts. For example, infographics. 

  • Ensuring the website remains up to date and making amendments where necessary; for example, our ‘In the News’ page. 

 

B2C Marketing/Social Media

  • Researching, preparing, designing, and scheduling x2 weekly Instagram/Facebook posts & stories on yearly health-related events, supportive information for people living with cancer, company achievements, and other relevant information that follows our B2C marketing strategy.

  • Liaising with our user researcher and design lead on social media ideas, designs and information.

  • Communicating and outreaching to new and existing users and professionals via social media.

  • Organise and manage events to boost brand awareness, liaising with charity partners for example. 

  • Monitor, track, and report on feedback and online reviews.

We are looking for:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Hands-on social media experience

  • Attention to detail, creative and critical thinker

  • Marketing experience/knowledge

  • Experience with Canva/design tools and scheduling apps

  • Some knowledge of healthcare/technology is useful but not a must.
